EQ: How do I graph a linear equation using an input/output table?

BR: Rewrite each equation in function form by solving for y.

  1. 2x + y = 20
  2. 6x – 3y = -3

Lesson:

  1. Discuss BR.
  2. Discuss solution of an equation and graph of an equation.
  3. Discuss verifying solutions of an equation.
  4. Discuss graphing an equation using an input/output table.
  5. Discuss horizontal and vertical lines.
  6. Discuss graphing y = b equations.
  7. Discuss graphing x = a equations.

Assignment:
pp. 214 # 1 – 11 in class
pg. 214 – 217 # 13 – 35 odd, 37, 41, 45, 49, 52 – 55, 81 – 86
